Each Precision-Fit Custom Cushion is designed based upon your client's exact positioning requirements. When customizing a Precision-Fit cushion shape, you will simply need to determine positioning and shape support for all areas of the support surface.

The measurements you take will directly correspond to the need required to support that area. If the basic shape fits for a certain area, no further measurements are needed. Only measurements given will be altered from the original standard shape.

All custom modifications can be completed quickly and easily via the Precision-Fit order form. Our custom modifications are completed in one of two ways:

1. Simply position your client in the sample cushion style (subtle, moderate, or aggressive) that best meets his or her specific needs. You can then assess the individual to determine what modifications are required.

2. Use the patient measurements from the order form to fill in the anatomical landmarks of each individual. Use this information to determine which standard shape will best meet the requirements needed to position the individual. We will then customize the standard shape based upon the measurements you have obtained.
